Naturfeuer AG produces, distributes and installs environmentally friendly decentralized energy systems. They commissioned me to design and create a company website from scratch.

Naturfeuer is based in Potsdam, Germany and produces, distributes and installs environmentally friendly decentralized energy systems with focus on the future ecological and economic potential of biomass cogeneration plants. The biggest challenge was to understand the work that they're doing and to transfer it into a coherent design.
Since Naturfeuer AG didn't have any website to start with/optimize, I had to start from scratch and the main requirement was to create visibility on the internet. Another requirement was to create a modern website that only gets some content updates every now and then but wouldn't need a major redesign in the next few years. For the users of the website it has to be transparent what Naturfeuer AG does and how they can benefit from its services.
After consulting with some employees, I created a mind map with all characteristics of the company and sorted them, which made it easier to categorize the informations and led me to create wireframes with suitable layouts. In the following iterative process I consulted users from different stakeholders to get important feedback and constantly improve the design and layout of the website.
